Area elementary schools take part in fitness day

WILMINGTON- Twin Valley Elementary School hosted the 24th annual Fitness Day competition on Tuesday, May 30, after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
They celebrated physically-active lifestyles, fitness, and health with schools from Twin Valley, Readsboro, Halifax, Marlboro, and Dover. They had 72 participants from the five schools and had a great spectator turnout.
The events performed included curl-ups, pull-ups, long jump, endurance run, a team relay, and a 50-yard dash.
