Twin Valley 5/6 girls land the win at invitational tournament in OT

WILMINGTON—The 5/6 AAU Valley Thunder girls team won The Valley Thunder Invitational over the BF Bulls on April 30.
The Valley Thunder managed to pull out the win in overtime on a hard drive by Anali Moore, who scored the game-winner with little time left on the clock to put the Valley Thunder ahead by one point.
“It was pretty eventful. The whole place was going crazy,” said Chris Brown, a coach with the Valley Thunder organization who was at the tournament.
