Twin Valley boys basketball team places third in early season Tip-Off Classic tournament
PROCTOR—The Twin Valley boys’ basketball team took third place in the Bob Abrahamson Tip-Off Classic over the weekend.
After losing their season opener 78-57 against eventual tournament champion Twinfield in the opening round on Friday, the Wildcats (1-1) defeated Poultney (0-2) 110-32 on Saturday. In the process, Twin Valley also set a new school record of 110 points, surpassing the 109 points the Wildcats scored, also against Poultney, in 2016.
