WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity was back in action after a week off. The long layoff showed, as the team struggled to find its scoring rhythm through the first three quarters of the game. In the end, the Wildcats found enough scoring punch to ride out a 47-37 win over visiting Green Mountain.
“It was a good game,” said Twin Valley coach Chris Brown. “They’re tough, athletic, work hard, and are a little bigger than we are. But we played hard. Any time you win it’s a good game.”
