School receives VCL grant

WILMINGTON - Twin Valley Elementary School has received a grant from the Vermont Council on Literacy. The school will use this money to purchase a full audiobook set of the 2025 -2026 Golden Dome books. The Golden Dome award honors excellence in children’s literature.
Throughout the state,  students in grades four through eight have an opportunity to vote for their favorite book from a list of nominees. The book that receives the most votes becomes the Golden Dome winner for that year. TVES appreciates the VCL’s  support in providing this access to their students.
