UCS hosts annual holiday craft fair

United Counseling Service (UCS)’s Developmental Services division will host its annual Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, December 5, from 10 am to 3 pm, at Grace Christian School, 104 Kocher Drive. All proceeds will support the Community Supports Program, which helps individuals with developmental disabilities pursue interests, build relationships, and participate in meaningful activities in the community.

Local crafters and artists are invited to participate for a $25 vendor fee; contact Roxy at RIskowitz@ucsvt.org to sign up.

Last year’s Holiday Craft Fair welcomed over 30 community vendors selling handcrafted wreaths, towel sets, mittens, quilted animal portraits, gourd lamps, and other wares. The event raised over $700 for Community Supports, which offers opportunities for clients, including men’s and women’s groups, scavenger hunts to encourage community exploration, garden club, art class, and other activities based on client interest.
