In so many ways, volunteers make the valley go ‘round. 
We’ve said that countless times here in this space, but it bears repeating again. So much of what gets done around here happens because of volunteers. People are more than willing to speak up, step up, roll up their sleeves, and help get things done.  
From towns boards and commissions to church groups, from fun events to fundraisers, from first responders to fuel assistance, from youth sports to theater troupes, and so many more, the valley thrives because it has a thriving culture of voluntarism.
