A slew of charges in pedestrian death
TOWNSHEND- Police say Shane M. Whittaker, 24, of Jamaica, died from injuries he sustained when he was struck by a vehicle while walking on Route 30 at about 6:31 pm on Monday, December 9. Whittaker was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he was initially reported to be in critical condition. On Friday, December 13, police said Whittaker had died at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
