Aggravated sexual assault of a child
MARLBORO- Police charged Jorge Romo, 52, of Marlboro, with aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 and two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child on Monday, March 17. Romo’s arrest came after a four-month investigation by detectives with the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation. According to police, allegations of inappropriate sexual contact by Romo were reported on November 14, 2024.
