Theatre Adventure troupe presents a classic tale of mutual aid and community

Actors from Theatre Adventure Thursday Troupe in costume for “Stone Soup”

BRATTLEBORO - The Theatre Adventure Thursday Troupe will present an adaptation of the classic folktale “Stone Soup” on Wednesday and Thursday, November 5 and 6, at 10:30 am, and Friday, November 7, at 7 pm, at the West Village Meeting House, 29 South Street. “Stone Soup” is about a village that confronts barriers and difficulties and discovers ways to overcome those difficulties.
Thursday Troupe actors will be playing characters who are in need, characters who are mean-spirited, and characters who dare to speak out against injustices, and through this, compassion for outsiders is discovered.
Theatre Adventure actors have disabilities as well as a flair for performing. Enjoy live theater with the message that everyone is important and everyone has something to contribute to the community.
The performance will have ASL interpretation for the Thursday and Friday performances. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Ticket prices start at $15 and can be purchased at theatreadventure.org/
tickets.
